Currently, 9 provinces and 2 territories in Canada are operating an active Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) that provides simple and fast access to obtaining permanent residency for various streams for different foreign nationals. *Nunavut is the newest territory and does not have a PNP and Quebec Immigration is not a part of the PNP.
Every PNP offers immigration streams aligned with the federal Express Entry system to help provinces nominate eligible applicants from the Express Entry pool.
Applicants to the Express Entry aligned PNP streams are required to meet certain additional criteria regarding connection to the province and a valid job offer from a local employer to qualify for provincial nomination.
Once the applicant has been granted provincial nomination, they will also receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency to the government body of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRRC).

- Number of invitations issued: 500
- Rank needed: 500 or above
- Tie-breaking rule: July 21, 2024 at 04:31:17 UTC
- If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
